Yuichi, the ultimate Filmmaker, is a rather upbeat character. Finding purpose in most things, he can craft a story from near anything. As the eldest son of a farming family, he was expected to take it over. But due to his passion for television and the stories portrayed, he left on his own, cutting off his family and accepting an admission to Hope's Peak Academy.

  • (Introduction) "Hey hey hey! Yuichi Hoshino, Ultimate Filmmaker! Nice to meet ya'!"

  • (confused) "Um.... Tadashi, I'm a guy...."

  • (worried, uncomfortable) "H-hey! You can't just run off! We have to stay as a group together, we'll all die otherwise! Never split up! That's how you die in every horror movie!"
