Eight (or Hachi in Japanese) is the first Octoling to be introduced as an actual character, he likes the outdoors and works in engineering as a hobby. He is friends with Goggles and the rest of Team Blue because they worked together to leave Kamabo Corp. (the main setting in Splatoon 2's DLC). Eight is kind-hearted and quite smart, with a soft and gentle voice.
