Paper Mario the Thousand Year Door Remake Fandub: PROLOGUE
PancakeVA for Narrator
The Narrator is (surprise, surprise) the narrator of the game.
I have nothing specific in mind, but I'd like the voice to sound more like a typical citizen of Rogueport reading a book aloud rather than a typical, dramatic narrator. I have the image of a shady, wandering traveler reciting ancient tales. I'm open to interpretation though, so I'll take into consideration any voice you'd like to try. If I can't find one I'm satisfied with, I might just handle the narration myself to make it easier.
This role will narrate the intro sequence for the game, the title cards at the beginning of each chapter of the game, and any other extra text I feel should be narrated aloud. If you're cast in this role and are interested, I might have another potential role in mind for later in the game.

Ahem! Today... I'm going to tell you the story of the Thousand-Year Door. An awfully long time ago... In a strange and far-off land, a big, bustling town thrived.
But one day... tragedy befell this blessed place. A great cataclysm struck the town and its people. Darkness filled the skies, and the earth roared and shook. It was as if the very world had come to a violent end.
