Crisp! It's interesting that you went into a more theatric delivery for him! It's still missing that emotional pull element. If the lover you've been loyal to your whole life doubted you, how would you express it?

Thank you for the feedback! I guess for the emotional side to it I was thinking the character would be trying to mask it to show the loyalty more? if I misread it my apologies aha, As for your question I feel like as this character the way I went for it I would have Lorenzo just so a subtle but very clear SNAP then the emotions would be all on show!

No, your portrayal is valid as the context is vague on purpose! But I'm not sure I'm hearing the approach you commented in your rendition! If he's trying to mask, wouldn't the expectation be subtle emotional slips? Like with the first line for example: He's a vampire. The way you deliver this line would tell me what this character would actually tell me what he feels about being one himself! Would you add more disdain to "gift" or guilt to "curse"?

Ah yes you are right on that one! I perhaps would have him as if he was talking about it being a gift his voice would be a bit more shaky like hes unsure of how to feel, But if he was talking about it being a curse... With emotional characters like this I feel like he would be more inclined to sound more certain and have more guilt in his voice since its like a negative emotion and they are easier to fall into

Yea! Any portrayal is good! I'm looking for your skill in how you deliver it! :D Feel free to try again.
