Captain Maki is the flight captain of the UNSC Song of the Ocean. He appears much more in the beginning of the series, and after a rather unfortunate chain of events, his appearance closes. He leads the first few operations on the Halo Ring, and only touches down for battle once. He is very involved and alert, with all of his devotion into preserving humanity. He's smart, professional and adapts quickly to the circumstances thrown at him.


Maki has a southern accent, and a deeper voice. He is professional, well-spoken and pretty wise.

  • "You're spartans, Cassius. If being walking tanks doesn't serve as a proper common-ground, then I'm not sure what will."

Sounds more like a Carolina accent or Georgia than Texas. He's looking for Cowboy not the Director from RvB. Just a friendly tip :P
