I will give you a brief explanation of what the song should be about, sending you some scenes if required. I will also give the emotions the song must convey as well as the style. It will then be up to you to put some songs together and I will choose one. Please keep in mind if I do not choose a song initially, it could still be chosen for a future episode. Your songs will play throughout the credits.

I would prefer one year exclusivity to the song, starting from the day the episode goes live, but we can discuss a higher payment for full rights to them.

  • Don't audition with this line. Just give me samples of your singing. Various styles preferred.

I quite enjoyed your showreel. I will be picking quite a few for specific ranges. Which style do you think you're best in?

Also you would be sent the scene/s to create the song for so it fits with what has happened in the episode. Are you alright with that?

Just to make you aware that I am not shortlisting until July. I don't want you thinking I have forgot about you if you don't hear from me as I am definitely interested right now.

It's a very pleasant surprise to get a response to this audition so quickly. Thanks :) I consider myself quite versatile, while my strong suite probably is in more rock(ish) styles. But I have been trained in a jazz choir that also did cover a lot of different genres from jazz (obviously :D), pop, funk, ballads, you name it.Sure I am completely fine with that. just send it my way whenever it fits the schedule - and if that's in July, than I don't have any objections as well :)

When I am not sleeping, I am always checking for submissions so people will normally get a reply within an hour.

I will definitely keep you in mind for the songs.

I'm sorry for carrying on disturbing you. A thought has just come to mind.

I am looking for four versions like the linked song. This one fits my project perfectly but it is only licensed. I want something similar to this, but not copyright infringing, for my main theme.

It has to be about a cycle of life and death, but very vague about the deaths as the linked song is. Every 15 years a vicious sandstorm wipes out the lives of all but a few. This is known as the cycle which is why the linked song fit it perfectly.

I need one normal, kind of like the linked song. One very sad version, one upbeat version so rock would do, and one just a very sad version of it without lyrics.

2 more examples of what I mean by sad version without lyrics.

Can you do something like that epidemic sound link?

I will be looking for someone to do the theme song in a couple of weeks. Just a 30 second sample, or a verse and chorus if you think that's better.

I will be seeing who can make a song that fits the show. I will then hire someone for a full version.

I'll have to see if I have the time to do that. In theory, I can do it (meaning: I have the skills to realize that project.) but if it fits with my schedule is on an entirely different page :/ singing for one or two songs is one thing, but completely arranging a song in different versions is something else ^^'

oh I'm sorry. I thought it may have been easier to give you some reference material. You obviously can't use the lyrics from that song, or the tune. You are basically creating a new song from scratch with that as reference material.

Let me know if I need to rethink my approach and how.
