A “tomboy with a girly streak”, Homura (Homu-ra) is Chise’s childhood friend who’s somewhat the opposite of her: more confident, good around large crowds. She can tell if people are lying, giving her the title “lie detector”. She does have flaws though: she’s bad at cooking and isn’t very athletic (unlike Akane, her light half). She’s also part of her school’s Light Music Club. Her past self was Bad End Sunny, a girl who thinks friends are a waste of time and wants to burn everyone standing in her way to a crisp (in a way, pretty competitive). Homura transforms into the orange and red Pretty Cure of friendship and fire, Cure Flare! As a Pretty Cure, she has better depth perception than her civilian form. Like Chise, Homura’s voice should reflect who she is (you’ll also have to sing in certain episodes).
