Allen is an orphan from the same orphanage Marissa grew up in, and is a descendant of Abel. He is well-mannered and kind, and is skilled at the lance, despite very rarely training as a child.
Allen is lifelong friends with Marissa, Leah, and Calvin. He secretly has feelings for Marissa, but has never told anyone in fear of her not sharing the same sentiments.
