Deferred: Agreed Amount
Role assigned to: BenAwtryVO

Zack Pitt is the Second Main character of the series. He’s clever and has a caring heart, though his awkwardness and anxiety tends to make him fumble. He tends to be the one who tries to be the voice of reason.

Voice Description: Medium to low vocal tone (preferably lower medium spectrum), Teenager, sound dorky, anxious, and can do voice cracks. Reference of voice is in the linked video above.

ADDED TIP: Zack is more of the uptight anxious person, and tends to panic more easily, so with panic lines, sound absolutely terrified!

Directors tip: Show your improvisation skills and really indulge into the characters personality, don't just try to mimic the voice reference, as I'm looking for someone who can fully enact this character well and really bring him to life!

Notes and Additional Lines to assist

1-
Tip: Sound embarrassed, and anxious

Um, sorry if I come across as a little annoying. I'm starting to sound like more of a motormouth than my friend. I just know what it's like to be the friendless new kid in school, and-

2-
Tip: Sound curious

Wait, weren't you one of the girls interrogated about that murder?

3-
Tip: Sound panicky

WHAT?! We can't fight that thing! Look at these! They're fricken noodle arms!

4-
Tip: "GUN NOISE WITH YOUR MOUTH" means make gun sounds, not saying the line. He is just running his mouth here.

Say, you look like a zombie, y'know. Did you not have a full night's rest or something? I've definitely been there, the other night I stayed up playing video games until I fell asleep. When my mom came in and woke me up for school, she said I was like a retired war veteran having a PTSD flashback. I guess I had a dream about the game I was playing, Call of Battle, so I woke up screaming about snipers on the rooftops and foot soldiers breaching our wall, and I guess I thought I had a machine gun in my hand because I was making that (GUN NOISE WITH YOUR MOUTH) sound, and acted like I was holding one in my hands-

5-

Tip: Sound distraught, the beaten down want to give up kind.

Well I guess, In my free time, I try to solve some of the murders that have happened here. Things here aren't always hunky Dory, ya know. Been doing it for a couple of years but most of my investigations just…..lead to a dead end.

hey, just curious, do you have a mic that could record in higher quality than the audio shown here?

Hello MsDancealot, and thank you for showing interest in my submission. As for your question, I do and will have access to my professional mic (my Shure MV88+) when I get home in less than 2 weeks. At the moment, I am finishing up exams at my college, located in a semi-remote area in Ontario. Because of this, I had to resort to my laptop mic for the audition, which you could likely tell. I will be ready to record with this better mic when I get home on April 29th (maybe the 28th). If you are interested in using my voice but need me to start recording earlier, I am willing to look into grabbing another mic off of Amazon (assuming they ship it fast enough) for the sake of your project. However, I do understand that you will be making a decision based on the current audition and your production schedule, so if this is not good enough I understand. I only ask that you would consider allowing me to still be a part of your project. If you have any other questions, you can either put them here, or you can message me in Discord (I would even be willing to get into a voice call to do things in an 'interview' style). Thanks again, and I hope you have an awesome day!-Slackboy

I can wait til April 29th if the role isn't filled by then! Im sure casting call allows you to send auditions after the deadline

Again, I genuinely appreciate your interest and consideration in my audition, and it would be a pleasure working with your team to bring Zack to life. Though I don't want to be a hinderance to your production schedule. So if you do find another 'worthy candidate', I completely understand. Worst case scenario, I would still be down to play an Extra. However, if you're willing to wait, I'll give you a performance worth your time when I get back. Thanks again for your time!
