Austin is a butler, the central character of the game. He arrives with his friend and master (player) to his master's house.

Austin is kind. He primarily cares about interests of the player and the garden. He always asks the player how he's doing, constantly advises how to improve the garden. He also trusts the player his own feelings and problems. He is positive to the third parties too, talks kindly about them, except for very negative characters. Austin emphasizes very carefully even obvious shortcomings of people, finding comic moments in it, diplomatically avoiding taunts.

Austin is fun, but not a clown or an idiot. He should evoke kind emotions, naturally one of the simplest and strongest of such reactions is laugh and a smile. Austin knows how to joke thinly, ironize, parody. Occasionally he can make sarcastic comments or even use satire.
