Maxis, once the group's intellectual powerhouse, succumbed to the Obelisk's corrupting influence and became a monstrous Firstspawn – the first and most powerful of the Inkspawn created by the Obelisk. His descent was fueled by a twisted combination of ambition, insecurity, and ultimately, a thirst for power.
Here, you will voice the corrupted version of Maxis, and for this reason, his voice needs to be different as Inkspawn are essentially a new person.

(Voice laced with rage, but punctuated by moments of chilling calm) "You think you understand this power, Cody? This is beyond your comprehension! The Obelisk offers transcendence, evolution! Join me, and together we will reshape this world!" (Voice builds to a crescendo of rage before snapping back to an eerily calm tone)
(Voice deep and menacing) "Your loyalty is as misplaced as your courage, Cody. This world is rotting. The Obelisk offers the only cure. Resist, and you'll become another stain on its inevitable progress. Another stepping stone to a glorious new order." (Voice fades into a low growl)
