In fact, we've never seen a man cause more trouble for his people than you! You've divided our community, shamed our gods,called our ancestors infidels, and exposed us in front of all the Arabs! And now word is getting out that there's a sorcerer amongst the Quraysh! And a soothsayer! And....other unspeakable vulgarisms! I swear by Allah we're just waiting for the pregnant lady to scream before everyone pulls out swords and finish each other off! It is a catastrophe, Muhammad. A catastrophe!

O my nephew, if this Islam affair was for money, we shall gather wealth for you and make you the richest man in Mecca! And if it is honor you want, we shall bestow nobility on you, we will not make a single decision until we consult you and get your approval. And if it is a kingdom you want, we shall crown you the king of the Quraysh. The very first in history! And if you want women, we shall line up all the maidens of Mecca for you to choose. Take ten if you want! And if there's anything else you want, we will not rest until we have provided it for you. That is what we are willing to do for you to give up this message of yours.
