So with the life lessons of being a divorced father of two, he is kind to everyone, despite their downsides, he thinks... no, he knows that everyone can be good, deep down.
Being the one to control all the transitions, effects, it makes him feel like he's watching over everyone, like a father, always there to make sure they're going good, and smoothly.
