Orchid is a “cup-half full” pretending to be a “cup-half empty”. As the newest resident of Elsewhere, every interaction is laced with the skepticism of someone twice their age. Gothic storm clouds brewing on the periphery, they are lying in wait. They want to believe in second chances and fresh starts, but such things have always been relegated to fairy tales. Until, maybe now. And that maybe is filled with as much hope, as it is terror. We hope to find someone who can convey this scene kid’s willpower to fight for their own happiness.
