His Character is very old and very wise and with his age he has gotten extremely sarcastic however he hasn't gone senile (confused and forgetful) with his age. The voice we are looking for is gruff but not so gruff it sounds like the old guy who will sell you weed more like the gruff of a drunk guy at the bar complaining about how his wife left him.
