WHO IS ILIAS?

Ilias is a minor character of this side story, husband to Sarai, father to Tamara and Ira as well as prince consort of the royal family. He was born into a more influential family within the Arks - due to his father working as an advisor to the previous king, Sarai's father.

This led to Ilias and Sarai growing up together and just like his father, Ilias took over the role of advisor for Sarai when she was still a princess. Through all their years of friendship Ilias had developed feelings for Sarai, but he also knew that Sarai is incapable of feeling romantic emotions towards anybody due to an event transpiring within her childhood - so he kept his feelings to himself.

Due to his family's political strength as well as the very public friendship between the two of them, their parents had arranged a marriage between the two of them. Both Ilias and Sarai agreed to the arrangement, since Sarai (though she doesn't love him romantically) knows she can trust him and he knows he can trust her.

Voice Lines

• Line 1: "Sarai, don't be too harsh on her. I know you're only keeping your distance from her because she reminds you of when you were a her age. And this is your way of protecting her and yourself... Despite all of this, Tamara isn't you. She is her own person-"

Situation: His wife and daughter have once again had an argument about which he tries to talk to Sarai and reason with her.

• Line 2: "Now, what do you think, sweetheart? Shall we just run away for the day and go on a little adventure? Hmm?"

Situation: Same situation as in Line 1, though this time he is "confronting" his daughter about it and though Tamara (his daughter) seems to hide it from him, she is deeply hurt about the situation. He kneels down to her and tries to cheer her up.
