World's Greatest Detective - Season 1, Story 2 - "The Curious Case of the Gentleman Ghost"
Adam Woolley for Douglas Isaacson
Douglas Isaacson has been head curator of the Gotham Heritage museum for almost a decade, and has been trying to keep the museum in the black with little success. However, he is unfailingly polite despite it all, and only wants the best for Gotham and the museum. He is, as one might expect, extremely knowledgeable on Gotham’s history.
Voice should be medium-high to low, late 30’s to early 50’s.
Mr. Cobblepot has been petitioning us for years to change some of our exhibits. He claims they cast some of his ancestors in an unflattering light. Since the press reported our imminent closure he’s gotten very… chummy. Wants to buy the museum. Knowing him, he’ll turn it into some sort of revisionist shrine venerating his forebears. [shudders] Detestable little man. No respect for any history but his own.
[giving a tour] Ah, this painting here is of former mayor Winfield Cobblepot awarding the Key to the City to Cardinal… [inspecting] Odd. It just says Cardinal Hurt, no first name.
[enthusiastic] Absolutely! We’ll always be proud to be associated with the Waynes, I assure you!
