Jaune Arc is one of the supporting leads from the web series RWBY by Rooster Teeth. He is known for initially having no huntsman training and needing lots of help from his friends, especially when he gets selected to be Team JNPR's leader. Later in the series, he becomes a much more competent huntsman. He is Pyrrha Nikos' love interest, but doesn't notice her attention because he never thought he'd catch her eye. His voice isn't too deep, more like an older teenager with rare voice breaks. Check out how he is in the web series if you'd like to hear more! I will be looking for someone who can get a close approximation of his voice, or at least a good emulation of his personality.

You will be paid for this role. Jaune has very few lines, however (and he doesn't appear in all chapters), and so I am offering two different rates and will pay you whichever one gives you the largest sum per chapter. The first rate is the new regular one, which is $0.15 USD per word (+10.00$ USD for good/timely work), and the second rate is the old regular one, which is $1.50 USD per line (+15.00$ USD for good/timely work). Payment will be done via Paypal, after lines have been submitted and that I am satisfied with them.

You may do whatever editing to your audition files as you would like (so long as they are clear), but if you are selected for the role, I will request you to edit nothing, leave 5-10 seconds of regular silence at the beginning of your takes, and have 3 different takes for each line. The format of your files will have to be either .WAV or .MP3.

Your microphone needs to be good enough that there will be no clipping if you have to raise your voice. Also, if there is too much reverb because of a poor recording setting, you may not be selected. If you can't afford sound cancellation/diffusion foams, you may try putting a blanket over your head or setting up in a small closet with lots of clothes, or any other method you believe might work.
