Jujutsu Kaisen: Purple
Urchids for Kaito Sairousoku
Kaito Sairousoku (災蝋燭海吐 Sairousoku Kaito) is a minor character in Jujutsu Kaisen: Purple. He was the younger brother of Kana Sairousoku who was seen as a disgrace to the Sairousoku Clan due to being born without the Cursed Candles family technique and was consequently held captive in a cramped storage room until his sixteenth birthday — when he tragically committed suicide by hanging himself.
Kaito was a bright, light-hearted boy who aspired to become a chess grandmaster. He was exceptionally skilled at chess and retained a rather witty personality, yet was not arrogant and instead displayed a confident, positive attitude. Moreover, Kaito remained hopeful that he would one day get to live a normal life, but became despondent upon realising that may never be the case. As a result of his parents' abuse towards him and his sister, Kaito had to remind himself that his lack of a cursed technique was not his fault while sobbing in the dark and, despite Kana Sairousoku's continued support, eventually lost hope.
