ROLE - Supporting Character / Antagonist
Character - Aoishi Shinomori is the leader of the Oniwabanshū, a group of elite ninja from the Edo Period. He is a rival to Kenshin.
Personality - Serious, Strict and Competitive. Highly confident in his own skill and abilities, Aoishi seeks to prove that he is the strongest fighter which leads to him being a mercenary for Kanryu. He's hard on others because he's harder on himself. He has an almost comical obessession with Power and is addicted to Megumi's Opium Laced Mochi Cakes.
Voice - Mid-Deep Range Voice. A young adult or adult male voice. The voice should give the impression of someone who's serious, cool and calculating and confident in their skill. There should also be a light gravel to his voice too.
Some characters Aoishi reminds me of is Vergil (Devil May Cry), Seto Kaiba (Yugioh), Cao Pi (Dynasty Warrirors). What all these characters have in common is their strong drive and motivation for more power, they seek to assert their dominance both in mind, strength and skill. There's a certain air of confidence in how they all talk.

Very nice and promising! Srongly considering you, you've got the voice and tone down right. Just the mannerism and cadence could be touched on but that's something a little live directing could help with. I actually took your audition and did a little test with it, would you like to see it?
