Peter Parker is the sole survivor of a plane crash, which led him to be taken by native spiders that, after much agonizing pain, give him powers. He uses these powers to prevent deaths that are unnatural as The Savage Spider-Man, a more primal take on Spidey. One day Wilson Fisk, the man who sabotaged Peter's flight, shows up to see him in Savage Land.
