NaomiMelville for Princess-Consort Colyette
Colyette is the wife of the crown prince of Ernhome, Prince Christofax. In this chapter of the story she has just given birth to twins. Her children will go on to be major characters in the narrative, but as they are too young to be POV characters, this chapter is from their mother's perspective. Colyette is dignified, headstrong and extremely protective of her babies. She knows her own limits and the boundaries of her position, but will stretch them to the breaking point if it means protecting her children and husband. The actress for this role will be narrating Colyette's chapter, including both the POV and dialogue.

“Saint Mirna the Defiant, I offer my thanks for your patronage,” she murmured quietly to herself. “As you once stood against the Shadow, so you have given me the strength to stand against the shadow of death and emerge unscathed. Pray for me and for my sons, Bloodied Bride, that we live lives of peace and mercy, and let not my womb be tainted as yours was by the ministrations of the Vile Ironhand. Ars Genta.” (pronounced ARR-GHENTA)
They were nearly identical, so small and red and puckered up, their tiny eyes squeezed shut tight, soft pudgy lips flapping as they squeaked and gibbered quietly. It was difficult to believe that until mere minutes ago they had lived inside of her, that she had grown these two new little people inside her own body. The small faces blurred as her eyes grew wet, and she felt Christofax’s weight slide into the bed beside her, peering over her shoulder to keep looking at his sons.
Colyette scoffed, “I am hardly the first woman to have children,” she demurred. Christofax kissed the top of her head. “You are the first woman to have my children,” he replied.
