Kasey is a Genetically Engineered soldier of Clan Jade Falcon known as an Elemental. Though she was intended to be part of a Power Armor unit, she instead was granted the position of MechWarrior in Star Colonel Roshak's unit due in part to a lack of available pilots.

Like all others apart of Clan Jade Falcon, Kasey is incredibly prideful to be so, and much like the others, is eager to prove herself in combat, though when presented with combat scenarios or hostile interactions, she tends to crumble under pressure, often in a not-so-spectacular fashion. 

Kasey also finds it difficult to interact with those outside the Jade Falcons, especially with her rivals in the Moonshine Raiders, who do not understand the Clan's customs or culture.

She operates one of the units, two Puma Light-Mechs, and is often sent on scouting patrols with other members of her Star Unit.
