Rin is one of the main Cures in the series, and a third year middle schooler, being best friends with her Pretty Cure partner, Minori. Rin is a highly energetic girl, being quite the tomboy and loving sports, her favorite being soccer. She's tame in comparison to the first Pretty Cure duo in the series, Yuna/Cure Field and Momo/Cure Lake. She spaces out at times, but overall can keep herself grounded. Rin has moments of depression where she thinks she doesn't belong in Michigaoka, however she aims to create a fresh start and think of herself more positively. Transforming with Minori, she becomes Cure Blaze, the Pretty Cure of Fire, Bravery, and Energy.
