An ancient Owl who lived many centuries ago, when Owl technology and culture was at its peak. Otus encounters Noctae via a hologram recording found in the Eternal Sanctuary, a secret area found late in the game. However, Noctae's hologram is hidden even deeper than the others, found within a secret passageway tucked away in the deepest chamber of the Sanctuary.

Noctae is a mathematical genius, and frequently worked together on projects with Aegolius, another brilliant ancient Owl scholar with whom he shared an extremely close bond. However, he was rather reclusive, especially compared to Aegolius' outgoing personality.

It is hinted at throughout the game that Noctae and Aegolius likely had a hand in the collapse of Owl society and culture that occurred over the following centuries.

Voice guidelines: Noctae should sound educated, but soft-spoken, as he does not like public speaking or being in the spotlight.
