We're searching for a talented voice actor to narrate a game tutorial video, and you could be just the person we're looking for!

About the Role

We're looking for someone to narrate a 45-60-second tutorial/explainer video for a VR video game. We can’t go into specifics about what it is before you sign an NDA, but what we can tell you is that it’s a virtual fishing game!

Tone of Voice

We would like a 30+ male for this role. You should be able to convincingly play someone who sounds 50+. To help explain what we’re looking for, think of a voice that conjures up the image of a friendly, old weathered fisherman - that’s it in a nutshell!

As we can’t share the scripts without a signed NDA, we’ve included a sample script for you to record. Imagine this script is to narrate a fun, playful instructional video.

1. Welcome to Fishing Simulator VR!

2. Alright then, let’s go fishing! First, reach over your shoulder and grab your rod using the right controller

3. Next, find a fish!

4. To cast your line, bring the rod back then flick toward the fish while holding the trigger button

5. Keep holdin’ the trigger to let out more line

6. When a fish bites, your line will turn green

7. To reel in your catch, gently flick the rod towards you

8. Smooth movements keep the fish on the hook. When it’s within reach, grab the fish off the line!

9. Using the grip button, grab the fish and place it in your bucket

10. Want to take a look at all the fish you’ve caught? Grab your journal from your backpack and tap the triggers to turn the pages

11. Grab your favourite fish to show off your prized catch!

12. I’ll catch ya in the boat!
