[WARNING: This role is not only a lead, but the "Veronica Sawyer" of our tale. To explain, there are few if any scenes where he is not present in some way, shape, or form. He's also the character with, obviously, the most to sing (yes, he has duets and parts in ensemble numbers, but he needs to be able to hold his own.) The main character of Persona 5/Royal and the protagonist of our tale, Ren Amamiya is a teenage boy framed for a crime he didn't commit. At the beginning of the game, he has sacrificed himself for the sake of protecting another person, having lost all power or influence in the world as a consequence. However, beneath his quiet demeanor is a strong-willed Wild Card leading the Phantom Thieves and capable of exploiting the Metaverse to affect reality. To his teammates, his code name is Joker, and to the residents of the Velvet Room he is known as the Trickster. The protagonist is the leader of the rebellious Phantom Thieves of Hearts, a group which aims to change society by stealing their targets distorted desires and changing their hearts.
