V is a timid, faint-hearted person who keeps everything to himself, to the point where he would rather live with the burden of all his secrets than tell the other RFA members. He harbors a close bond with Jumin yet keeps him at a distance in order to protect him. Although V is famous within the photography industry, he is not well known amongst the public since he does not like being talked about. He is a people pleaser and overly sensitive to the opinions of others. For this reason, he is deeply saddened by Yoosung's blame for the death of his fiancé Rika, and even goes as far as to tell Rika that he would happily stay with her even if she physically harms him. As a result of her actions, V's eyes were hurt badly, resulting in severe corneal damage that almost blinded him.

Despite his double agent role and status as a member of the cult Mint Eye, he genuinely cares for the other RFA members and does all that he can to protect 707 and Saeran. Even so, he harbors extreme guilt for the harm that befalls them as a result of Rika's actions and his own inaction.
