Silver is a supporting character of project chaos, he is a younger hedgehog that was created by Gerald Robotnik in an attempt to recreate what he achieved with his first successful experiment, shadow the hedgehog. Silver was created by Gerald using his former experiment’s DNA. he was supposed to be a replica of the ultimate life form but did not meet the expectations that Gerald had. Silver is a naïve person who always listened to people that were in positions of command. Currently in the story of project chaos silver is with his current guardian, shadow who had been watching over him for a good few years. unlike shadow. Silver wants to create bonds with people and is constantly seeking the approval of his guardian. Though shadow is less than willing to interact with the teen, viewing him as just a liability.

Out of all the characters in project chaos, silver went through the most changes. No longer being from the future but the same era as the rest of the cast. His personality remains similar, being naïve and hopeful but cautious of what's to come. He tried not to let the world bring him down but it is very hard, especially when he is constantly interacting with a person who views him as a burden.
