The sensation hits you. It is an unnerving cold so overwhelming, it becomes hot. The torrent is ebullient and hungry. It floods through any opening it can, rushing towards your brain. Hooking into your skin with invisible barbs, infecting your veins, and spilling into your lungs… It means to cling to your being.
