Kusuo Saiki is depicted as a high school student with extraordinary psychic powers, including telepathy, telekinesis, x-ray vision, and teleportation, among others. Despite these incredible abilities, Saiki desires to lead a normal, unobtrusive life, often finding his powers more burdensome than beneficial. He goes to great lengths to hide his abilities from his classmates and to avoid drawing attention to himself.
