He was experimented on when he was still a Eevee causing him to get a darkside and better stats than a average Umbreon. His grandparents (which was a Flareon and a Leafeon) died in a fire when he was 5. His parents (A Jolteon and a Glaceon) died after a experiment that did go wrong (they accepted to work for the scientist that was experiment on him and in return they let him go) when he was 7
Also Echo is 15 right now
Is Darkside is just a Red Umbreon it's can be trigerred if people attack his family/friends, if he get a bad flashback or if you get him really angry but like really bad if is darkside take over and he lose control he get 10x times stronger and gonna attack anyone on his way
