I can't stress enough how important it is to listen to examples of how Marco sounds. I am going to cast whoever sounds the closest possible to the original. Here are just a few examples:

Use the comic as a guide of what type of inflection you think he should have! If cast, I'll ask if you prefer to follow the script I've written up or your own interpretation of what emotion the comic is trying to portray. As for me, I'd prefer your interpretation!

Bonus: If you can give me a few good variants of "Ahhh!!" screams like he just saw a spider or something, Marco seems to do quite a bit of that and I'd love to hear how you do it. I think it can be found in one of the video examples. Thanks so much for taking the time to read this character!

I have a date with Jackie!I'm not sure about my feelings anymore! I finally moved on. I'm at peace with it. Now she's back and she caught me off guard! Maybe she just wants to go out as friends. Maybe not! I struggle between what is right in my own, and what is ethically and objectively good! Oh, man! I'm saying a bunch of non-sense words!

That was actually REALLY good!! Your inflection for him is spot on, especially the "Ahhh"s, I loved them!!! Your voice is a little too young sounding for Marco, though. However! I loved your audition so much I'm going to keep you in mind for future projects I'm going to have, if you're interested! I have a few characters in mind that I think you'd be perfect for and I plan on doing many different types of comic dubs, so it'd be fun to have you on the team. =) Thank you so much for auditioning! Oh, and tips! The only thing I would critique is the pacing. He's mumbling in those lines so it makes sense he'd be rambling fast, so it's good on the acting end, but because it's a comic dub I need each word to be clearly heard. That's the only thing I would say, other than that, fantastic audition!!
