She is often planning and plotting to achieve her goals which may or may not go as planned due to her clumsiness. She is prim and proper on the outside while inside she is secretly a degenerate. Hakari also enjoys teasing Karane, often leaving her embarrassed or angry.

"And I bought Pocky for dessert. Huh...!? E-every single stick's grip has broken off! I'd get my hands dirty if I held them! And I was going to feed you too, Rentarou-kun. Ah!" (Places the pocky in her mouth) "I can just do this and it won't get my hands dirty. Here, Rentarou-kun. Aaahh~"
(Arguing with Karane) "If you want to talk about that, then answer this. Why does Rentarou-kun look more and more beat up after each of your attempts? Stop hurting my Rentarou-kun! He is mine!"
