(Lighthearted) Agent Phil Coulson has been a very busy man as of late. Over the past few years, he’s been involved in numerous events surrounding superpowered beings and their enemies. He’s met living legends, gods, the best of the best. He also missed his chance to snag a bagel from the Triskelion’s cafeteria during breakfast because he had to stop for gas.

A thought crosses the man’s mind: what if they can’t get out? It was a thought he had technically had swimming around in his head for days at this point, but this was the first time he allowed himself to pay attention to the question. No amount of conjured up mental equations or hopes of a nice family dinner once they get home could have distracted him from the possibility for long.
