When it comes to Lucy I want to avoid two things
1. Making her the butt of cheap dumb blonde jokes
2. Lazy Pokémon Jokes
Instead I want her comedy to lean on her desire to be a writer from the show (and yes I will be calling out all writers along with myself through this character) and Digimon jokes (or as I like to call it Pokémon with Consequences) On top of that, I want to have her be the straight man to everyone's shenanigans and address her issues with her father with out cheapening it.
In terms of voice I would like something similar to the English VA Cherami Leigh (https://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/tv-shows/Fairy-Tail/Lucy-Heartfilia/) but I am open to a different interpretation, imitation is not required, I'm just offering the English VA so you have an idea of the kind of voice I'm looking for.
