The Gatekeeper
Mickey Jo for Narrator
You are the narrator and the character. In the far future, mankind has reached the edge of the universe, and you're ready to voyage beyond the boundary and onto the next frontier. But you didn't get here with ease, and you definitely didn't come without a good reason. You are cautious, paranoid, and melancholy as you recount your story (to the audience.) You are exhausted, well-annunciated, and there is grit and grime in your voice; a man who has been worn down by the hell he had to go through. You're part of a dark, unkind world, and you strive to find paradise. Luckily, you were smart enough not to get your hopes up when you finally found it.

Pressed upon our universe is the wall of another. A parallel universe, gleeming with possibility... We're separated by an exotic energy called dark matter. It gatekeeps revelation and prosperity, so that we may live in ignorance of heaven's existence
As the pioneer of the new frontier, I have vowed to abolish the wall, to lay down the stone on which history would be built.
