Reed Richards, otherwise known as Mr. Fantastic, is the leader of the Fantastic Four. He was, at one point, the smartest man in the world. While an overall optimistic person, Reed is burdened by the knowledge of a strange eldritch horror he learned of in the recent past, and he regularly has panic attacks and brief bouts of madness as a result. Reed struggles with the progression of technology and intelligence amongst the wider population of the world, having held much pride in being the smartest and being unable to handle that some are just as smart as he is. Reed cares deeply about his family, but his absent minded nature means he doesn’t show it as often as he probably should. He and Susan Richards are married.

(Very fake, pretending to be a public personality) Hello, to all of you at home. My name is Dr. Reed Richards, though I’m sure most of you know me better as Mr. Fantastic, leader of the superheroic team known as the Fantastic Four. At least, I know the kids will! I’ve been asked by the kind folks at… (doesn’t remember the name of the station) this news station to present a, shall we say, “fantastic” edition to the Exhibit of Legends down at the Trual Museum.
I know… we’ll make it out… (disbelieving) we have to… right?
(Attempting to stop The Thing from rampaging) Ben, you have to get a hold of yourself! These people are innocent, even if they are rude!
