(sips tea, takes a deep breath) It's a bit of a tangled web. You see, officially, they were from the Ministry of Antiquities. Unofficially... There are whispers of a secret group, powerful and influential. They've been around for a long time, with connections in governments and major corporations.
(labored breathing) The construction of these stairs is quite fascinating. It doesn't appear to match any of the other older stone work you would typically find in this region of the city.
