The reason we want to hear you do one straight take with minimal edits is so we can hear exactly everything you do from your breaths, to your reactions to mistakes, because these are really important especially when doing auditions or live sessions with clients. As far as the delivery, make sure that you articulate your words as sometimes it can change the meaning of the word or become hard to understand what you’re saying. Try to add certain variance in the delivery as well so that you aren’t stuck in the same tone throughout like pacing, emphasis, pitch, energy levels, etc.
