VA101 (Saturdays) - Session 1
Michelle Garcia for Role
Full details of homework is on Closing Credits
Consistent pacing that was easy to understand. Need to project your voice more and be excited about what you are offering. Felt more like you were Youtuber discussing the latest movie news, than a salesperson trying to sell me (Insert Product here). Also good job on reading "entrée" correctly. I had thought you had misplaced "entry," but I looked back at the script and saw that you were right. However, you mispronounced "vinyl." You pronounced it as "vin-ill" instead of "vine-ul." If you ever see a word you don't know how to pronounce, looking it up on google is a pretty quick way. "vinyl pronunciation"
Appreciate the feedback!
Let's pump up the enthusiasm! You have such a nice voice and I would love to hear more of it. Right now, it sounds a bit like you're just reading a script. What we need is for your voice to convey real passion and excitement. Slow down a little and put all your energy into projecting your voice. This will help your audience really absorb what you're saying and make your delivery more impactful. Take your time, emphasize the key points, and project your voice with gusto. Remember, you're not merely reading words; you're performing for your audience. Make me smile, make me want to drop everything and buy a million of these fantastic products! I understand that speeding up might seem like a way to make your delivery stand out, but trust me, slowing down and focusing on your character performance will make a world of difference. Can't wait to see how you inject even more life into your performance!
