Kal-El, Superman's birth name, was born on the planet Krypton, a highly advanced alien world. Recognizing Krypton's impending doom due to an unstable core, his parents, Jor-El and Lara Lor-Van, sent him to Earth in a small spacecraft just before Krypton's destruction. The spacecraft landed in Smallville, Kansas, where he was found and raised by Jonathan and Martha Kent as their adoptive son, Clark Kent. Growing up, he discovered his unique powers and abilities. As an adult, he becomes Superman and protects Earth from various threats such as General Zod and his own Brother Tal-Rho. Eventually, he joined the Justice League at some point.
