Character description for Mira, the protagonist: MEDIUM/ MEDIUM-HIGH
Mira is a pink-loving introvert who cares deeply for humans and animals and experiences a lot of anxiety. She copes by talking to herself and writing. At the start of the story, Mira wants to strengthen her relationships with her mom and friends and keep her problems hidden from them.
When Nelly disappears, everyone is devastated, and Mira becomes overwhelmed with the urge to fix everything but cannot do it alone. Her mom tells her about the Book, which provides guidance but with minimal information.
Mira's character arc involves learning that to save Nidoria, she must understand that not everyone will like or believe her. She needs to gain the trust of people she's never met, which is a daunting task. Mira also needs to recognize that some people who love her will be there to help her when she needs it.
Finally, Mira must come to terms with the fact that change is inevitable. Everything and everyone will change over time, and she can't control it. These lessons are crucial to Mira's growth and development as a character, and they drive the story forward.

(clearly annoyed/angry) “I’m slow?!” Mira yells, “My friend just disappeared in front of my eyes, and her sister is going crazy because Nelly meant the world to her, and you want to tell me that I can’t process this?” Mira stomps over to Aayan and grabs the front of his shirt, almost to the point of choking him. “You want me to go to a place away from my mom and friends, oh, and get this, I have no idea where I am going?!”
Mira hesitated for a moment, unsure if she was ready for this level of risk. "I don't know, Aayan. I'm already busy working with Deirdre, and I don't want to put her or myself in danger."
"I have to kill him," Mira said, her voice cold and determined.
