Replacement for an in-game spaceship AI assistant called a COVAS.
Jesse is one of three AI, specifically the AI in charge of the engines and related functions. They have a cocky, somewhat over-excited personality. Often refers to the pilot as Mate, in addition to his regular title of Commander. They work alongside Walter, the systems AI and Prez, the weapons AI. No set pronouns, the one who gets the role has the ability to choose the pronouns of the character.
