Home Life

Mattias grew up in WillowBrook along with his little sister. His mother died of sickness when he was five. His father owned a market stall selling firewood. Mattias’ parents had very strong opinions of the anomalies. They always told him the anomalies were corrupt. Mattias never believed what his parents said, but could never speak up about it.

School Life

Mattias has a middle school education. Once middle school ended, his father wanted him to help with the firewood stall. Although he has a middle school education, Mattias has always loved to read and learn about the stones. He became an expert in Stoneology. 

Childhood

When working at the firewood stall with his father, Mattias watched as a small boy bumped into Jaque, the weapons seller in the market. The boy was found to be an anomaly and was brutally beaten and burned. Mattias tried to run to the boy, but his father kept pulling him back.  After the beating, Mattias tried to find the boy in the woods on the outskirts of WillowBrook.
