This character deals with the sensitive topics of marital abuse and stalking.
Important multi-quest side character. Malla Vons is the pseudonym of Ginleth Sathayn, a mortal Dunmer woman and Harrow's girlfriend. She escaped her abusive husband in Morrowind after having a baby girl and ran away with the child. She's stowed her with some Dunmer in Raven Rock, Solstheim who agreed to act as her blood family in case her husband tried to steal the girl back, while Malla continued into Skyrim. To protect herself, she took a new name. She has tried very hard to leave her old life behind. However, as she feared, her husband has worked his way back, and is trying to find her to interrogate her for the location of their daughter. She is learning to lighten up thanks to Harrow's influence, and works with him to add diagrams, ornate drawings, and covers to his written works. She's on the quieter side. Malla's voice has no particular direction. Please include a Dunmer accent is all I ask.

  • (Discussing Her Work.) Harrow is a brilliant writer, but he likes to ask me to do the drawings in his stories. It's been nice... I certainly prefer this to farming, or- or something like that.

  • (When Pressed About Her Husband.) You can't be serious! I'm- I'm courting *Harrow*, we aren't married, I *have no husband*. What kind of joke is that? You- you need to work on your sense of humor...

  • (After Caving to the Player About Her Daughter.) . . . I named her... Sunnar... That's not a normal Dunmer name but- it means "blessing". She's my blessing. I just wish I could be there for her... I hope she doesn't remember me. I don't know if I could live with myself if she felt I abandoned her out of hatred, or spite.
