Skip is a former outsider more or less acclimated to the oddities of the town as well as Lucy's semi-unwitting boyfriend. Despite his often fearful behavior towards her, he's more or less submitted to his life without real attempt to escape and is surprisingly casual with everyone else, his voice more tired than anything.
