Kumiko Maroon (Koo-me-koe) is a young woman who wants to show that she can be successful through independence. Generally a sweet and kind- albeit timid girl, nothing pleases Kumiko more than seeing that she's brightened up someone's day. She tends to be rather soft-spoken and hesitant a majority of the time, despite her intelligence and ability to contribute. Never the type to anger, she tends to get upset with herself more than anything.
"E-excuse me! Sir, w-wait! Your knuckle, it's all bloodied! Let me look at it. Oh you poor thing, how did this happ- that's not your blood."
(Pause, next line carries a more fearful stunned tone.)
"O-Oh. W-well. Guess you got your uh- is he- where are you taking him, then..?""Right. Okay. Deep breaths Kumiko. You trained for this. Its just. Well. You know, a gaping hole in someone. Just another walk in the park. Mhm. Yep, let's. Let's do this."
"Nobody back home EVER believed in me. They just saw me as the cute little helpless younger sibling- not for what I could be, or even what I was working towards. I got s-sick of it, okay? That's why I'm here."
