Elward, the local butcher, is quite similar to his son in his subdued personality, however Elward often comes across as a bit more surly. His voice, too, is flat and mostly monotone but often has a sense of impatience to it, though it's truly simply the way he speaks and not telling of genuine contempt. He's a man of few words but he gets across quite a bit with his cold stares.
