Anzai is the lead Antagonist of this Fanganronpa, having a strong dislike in Nikori's believe and logic. 

In general, he is a more sceptical person, not letting anyone look into his logic and thoughts willingly. In trials, he's an active part of the debates, arguing against Nikori if her logic is once again disapproved by his own logic. 

While he is rather cold towards others, he is rather passionate about his talent, not minding it to make coffee and other Café-typical beverages for the few students he likes or got a neutral connection to.
